It's Time to Raise the Standard

BE THE EXAMPLE YOU WISH YOU HAD.

For 2026 I am extending a challenge to my brothers and sisters not only AFR but all New Mexico Firefighters to do a depletion drill once a month. That is the minimum standard. I have reached out to a handful of solid firefighters who have committed to do this challenge with me. They will share their results and training also so we see different styles and options. Let's do this. We are all in this together.

We are all Brother's and Sister's, we must collaborate not compete. I want everyone to represent their departments with pride and honor. I want to show that all New Mexico Firefighters are second to none and that we are raising the standard.

If you are on a 56 - 2 on 4 off you have 10 days to complete a 30-45 minute of training in your gear. If you say you don't have time, I say that is weak and I am calling you on your bullshit. You need to reevaluate how you are wasting your time.
